Classification of grid-type ball mill by ore discharge method

Grid plates are installed at the ore discharge outlet for forced ore discharge, with large processing capacity, but coarser discharge particle size (0.2～0.3mm), suitable for coarse grinding or primary grinding operations.

Overflow-type ball mill: Achieves self-flow ore discharge through high-concentration pulp, with finer discharge particle size, suitable for fine grinding.

• Drum mills employ transmission types such as edge flyer, center drive, and multi-point meshing edge drive. Drive types include asynchronous motor + reducer + pinion + gear, and synchronous motor + air clutch + pinion + gear.
• They generally utilize hydrostatic and hydrodynamic bearings on both ends, using fully enclosed, self-aligning 1200 linear contact rocker-type bearings. Single or double-slider hydrostatic and hydrodynamic bearings, or full hydrostatic support, are also available.
• Large open gears are designed to US AGMA standards, equipped with a reliably sealed gear cover and a glycerin automatic spray lubrication system.
• The drum, a key component of the mill, undergoes computer-based finite element analysis to ensure operational reliability.
• Large and medium-sized mills are equipped with a slow-speed drive.
• Large and medium-sized mills are equipped with high- and low-pressure lubrication stations.
• The control and protection system utilizes PLC control.
